Hope Foundry Workspace Project - The refurbishment and remodelling of the first and second floors of the Grade 2 listed Hope House and Hope Foundry has provided usable creative offices and workspaces for up to 30 small businesses. It has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Cosmic Slop is MAP Charity’s regular in-house fundraising event, held in the Hope House Gallery. The events play host to some of the finest local selectors and internationally acclaimed DJs alike, playing records through a unique, custom built sound system. 100% of funds raised goes directly towards supporting the education project, ensuring the charity can continue delivering creative education to young people.
“Cosmic Slop in Leeds has the greatest sound system in the world.” – Floating Points, musician
Our in-house illustrator Johnny Cosmic generously donates his time to create illustrations for the events. These designs are also screen-printed by Hope Foundry creative partners No Brand to create bespoke flyers, posters and garments, generating income for the charity.
We are currently running a limited edition T-shirts sale featuring Johnny Cosmic’s designs, in aid of our current fundraising campaign – get yours now!
